| JJJKADC celebrates I-Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Aug 18: Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, kandi Area Development Committee (JJJKADC), under the chairmanship of Anil Sharma, celebrated 64th I-Day with great patriotic fervor and gaiety at Dansal. Chairman of the committee unfurled tri-colour amid National Anthem. BDO Dhansal was the chief guest on the occasion, accompanied by BMO Dhansal and SHO Jajar Kotli.
As per reports besides party activists, number of locals and school students also attended the function and paid homage to the martyred freedom fighters.
On the occasion students sung patriotic songs and performed on various Bolly-wood songs to entertain attendants present there, Anil Sharma also distributed prizes among participants, for making function a grand success.
Speaking on the occasion Anil Sharma appealed to the people of state to maintain year’s long brotherhood in the state and urged people of all communities to disregard anti social elements from the society to preserve peaceful atmosphere in the region.
Other present on the occasion were, representative of the Sarpanches, Panches, Lumberdars, Chowkidars of block Dansal.
Devi Dass, Sarpanch, Ranjeet Singh, Rtd. Head Master, Kishori Lal, Ex-Sarpanch, Mohan Lal Verma, Ex-Sarpanch, Karan Datt Sharma, Angrez Singh, Dr. Parma Nand, Jawahar Dass and many other dignitaries also marked their presence in the function.
