| BSP lashes Vijay Kumar Lochan for his statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 19: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today convened a party meeting under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal, Member State Executive, to express annoyance over the statement of Vijay Kumar Lochan, Chairman of Dalit Samaj and sycophant of NCs low profile leadership.
On August 18, Lochan appeared in the press and had stated that BSP has exploited the poor Dalits and having no any representative character.
Reacting over the statement of Lochan Bansi Lal said that before giving any statement against the BSP having 21 MPs in the Lok Sabha and 17 MPs in the Rajya Sabha and ruling party in Uttar Pradesh, which is the largest state of the country, with population of over 18 crore, the one should know his own weight, character and political carrier.
Leaders of the party said that BSP is committed to safeguard the interests of Bahujan Samaj, as well as nation as a whole.
BSP leader further said that UPA government at the centre headed by Manmohan Singh is there with the outside support of BS. Hence BSP leaders advised Lochan to think before speak in future.
Prominent leaders of BSP present in the were Ram Dayal, Dalbir Singh, KL Thapa, Rattan Lal, Sanjeev Bangotra, BS Parwana, Ajaib Singh Motten, Romesh Motten, Pritam Chand, Neelam Kumari, Dhani ram and MP Gupta.
