| Kargil deputation calls on Tara Chand, Saroori | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Aug 19: A deputation from Kargil led by Haji Asgar Karbalai, today called on Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and Minister for R&B G M Saroori, here.
Former Minister Haji Nisar Ali and Former MLA Ghulam Raza were accompanying the deputation.
The deputationists demanded restoration of roads, hospitals, water supply schemes and allied sectors affected by recent floods at Kargil particularly in Shakrchiktan, Shargole and Kargil blocks.
The deputationists gave an account of the losses due to flash floods and requested for rebuilding the damaged infrastructure at the earliest. They also brought to their notice the difficulties faced by the people.
