Review healthcare facilities in hospitals: Tarigami to Govt. | Lauds the role of medicos in performing their professional duties | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 20: Expressing deep concern over shortage of medicine and healthcare facilities in the hospitals across the valley, CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has asked the government to make all efforts to provide essential healthcare facilities and ensure adequate medicine supplies in the hospitals. In a press statement issued today, Tarigami said that due to the restrictions and shutdowns, the people in various areas of the Valley are facing difficulties in availing medical help. He stressed on the government to take a review of the patient care especially medicine and food in the hospitals and make it sure that patients and their attendants do not suffer for the same. While lauding the role of doctors and paramedical staff, he said that people associated with health services are braving all odds in performing their professional duties. “Doctors, paramedical staff, ambulance and hospital vehicle drivers are zealously working in their hard times to provide treatment to the people. Their services in trying circumstances deserve all praise and appreciation”, he added.
