Jammu, Aug 20: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu AK Koul today granted five day police remand of Harbans Lal, Patwari Halqa Ratnal, Bishnah for further investigation who was caught red-handed by VOJ on August 19, 2010 while accepting RS 4000 as bribe amount from Sham Lal S/o Sh Natha Ram R/o Ratnal, Bishnah for issuance of copy of Missal Hakiat.
CPO Purshtom Sharma appearing for the VOJ moved application for seeking police remand for seven days. The accused was present in court in custody, Court after considering the case granted five days police remand for further investigation with the direction to IO that he would ensure the medical check-up of accused after every 48 hours and as and when need arises. The IO shall be completed investigation without further delay. JNF |
