JKEDI organises awareness programme for students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, AUG 20: An entrepreneurship awareness programme about Sher e Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth (SKEWPY) was organised at Government Degree College Samba by Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). It was highlighted that the Seed Capital Fund Scheme enables the educated youth of the state to start the business by availing non-refundable seed capital equipment to 35 per cent of the project cost, maximum to 10 lakh subject to the fulfillment of the terms and conditions of the scheme. Dr. Naila Khanday, Saba Nazir and Vishavjeet Singh of JKEDI coordinated the Programme and detailed the ITI students about the different components of the scheme. Anoop Sharma, ITI superintendent along with the faculty of members of the college actively participated in the programme Anoop Sharma welcomed visiting faculty members of JKEDI. He appreciated the initiative taken by JKEDI for the awareness of unemployed youth about the different SKEWPY schemes. Meanwhile, JKEDI conducted day-long awareness-cum-counselling for the educated unemployed youth of district Samba at ITI Samba, Samba. |
