| 2 days workshop of NAAC accreditation & re-accreditation process begins | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 20: Two days workshop of NAAC accreditation & re-accreditation process commenced today in Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College.
Workshop was being organized by the department of Higher Education for the Principals & IQAC Co-coordinators of Govt. College of Jammu province. The aim of the workshop was primarily to prepare these institutions for the re-accreditation process as per the revised seven quality criterions laid down by NAAC.
Secretary, Higher Education Department Tanveer Jehan, Dr. Sham Lal Gupta, Director Colleges and Dr. Muqbil Chisti, OSD, Higher Education Department were the dignitaries who graced the inaugural function in addition to all the principals & IQAC Co-ordinators of Govt. colleges.
Welcoming the dignitaries and the participants, Prof. M.S. Baloria, Principal GGM Science College observe that there was a need to implement quality parameters at the ground level with zeal and dedication in order to achieve excellence and show a visible change in the educational setup.
Director colleges Dr. Sham Lal Gupta emphasized on a proactive approach in order to achieve the set objectives. In his opinion, best practices and strengths of the individual institution should be shared. He assured the participants of full administrative support in their march towards attainment of overall excellence of the institutions. |
