| State Taekwondo Championship concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 20: The two-day state level taekwondo championship concluded today with the holding of prize distribution function at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here this evening.
In the final bouts and prize distribution function, former Minister and MLA, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta was chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners of various age and weight categories of this two-day championship. In all, around 300 boys and girls took part this competition.
Bouts in this two-day championship officiated by Vikrat Joshi, Arjun Gupta, Mukta Gupta, Varinder, Manoj, Vikrat, Parveen, sanjay and Vishal Arya, an international player.
Meanwhile, according to the technical director of the Association, Atul Pangotra the winners of sub-junior age category shall be taking part in the Sub-junior National Championships to be held at Guwahati in Assam from August 28 to August 30. |
