| Interstate vehicle lifters gang busted, 21 stolen vehicles seized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RS Pura, Aug 20: Police today busted an inter-state vehicle lifters gang operative in RS Pura and adjoining areas when it seized 21 stolen vehicles from their possession.
Acting on specific information, RS Pura police led by SHO Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jatinder Singh Johar arrested one Malkit Singh of Punjab with a stolen motorcycle and on his disclosure police arrested one of his accomplices Billa.
On the disclosure of the duo police seized twenty one stolen motorcycles from their possession. When contacted, SP Headquarters said that Malkit Singh used to lift motorcycles from Punjab and dumped them in RS Pura area for selling purpose with the connivance of Billa.
He further said that interrogation of both the accused was in progress and more arrests and recoveries are expected.
