Early Times Reporter Jammu October 25 The State Kabaddi Team left today for Raigad Mumbai (Maharashtra) to participate in the All India ‘A’ Grade Kabaddi Championship which is scheduled to be held from October 27 –31. The championship will be organized by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association for men and women. The prize money for the winner team is Rs. 1,11,111 while Rs. 77,777 is for the runner up team. Special awards for outstanding performance will also be given by the association namely Best Raider, Best Catcher and Best player of the tournament. This was disclosed by Kuldeep Kumar Gupta General Secretary J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association. Earlier, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, President of the kabaddi association appreciated the role of S.Bhupinder Singh Tirthi International Kabaddi coach under whose the state team has left for Mumbai for the above said championship. Gulzar Singh is accompanying the team as manger. The team: Sandeep Kumar, Sandeep, Jhamir Singh, Ankush Gupta, Aman Sharma, Amarpal Singh, Narinder, Naveen, Sonu, Amit, Sunil Dutt and Narinder Narvay.
