| Nirmal holds UPA Govt responsible for prevailing anarchy in India | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Reaching to the home minister Shivraj Patil’s statement that “ militancy may assume the shape of a mini war”, the state BJP president Dr. Nirmal Singh today held the Congress-led UPA government responsible for the prevailing anarchy in the country. He said had the UPA government followed the NDA’s Policy and not abolished POTA and equated India with Pakistan as far as terrorism and J&K concerned, things in the country would have been totally different and that Pakistan would not have dared to carry on its subversive activities. Meanwhile, Dr. Nirmal Singh has congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of J&K Accession to India. He appealed to the people to remain vigilant and defeat the evil designs of the votaries of self-rule, autonomy, demilitarization, joint control, joint management and militant friendly healing touch policy.
Dr. Nirmal Singh also condemned the brutal lathicharge on Ware House traders and the manner in which JMC authorities took demolition drive in the area. He demanded immediate action against the erring police and JMC officials and compensation for those commercial establishments were demolished.
