| Nehru Market traders association condemn police action, demands stern action | | | EARLY TIMES REPROTER JAMMU | OCT 25 Nehru Market Traders Federation has demanded stern action against police for their brutal use of force against the traders during demolition derive carried out by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) here yesterday. Addressing a press conference here today, president of Traders Association, Ramesh Gupta gave two days ultimatum to the government for taking action against the police and said if no action is taken against the police, will be compelled go for indefinite strike. He further said that a delegation of traders call upon chief minister, Ghulam Nabi azad and brief him about the police anarchy. He also demanded widening of Belicharana Roas and diversion of all buses via Asia Hotel. He warned the administration, if no action is taken against the police personnel responsible for their in-human act, they will demonstrate in front of minister’s residence here.
