| JURSEA flays Director Colleges | | | Jammu / July 26, 2006
Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) convened a meeting of the research scholars of Jammu University and in flayed Director Colleges for flouting the UGC norms for the contractual appointment of lecturers in various colleges.
Association has demanded the intervention of Chief Minister in the matter and threatened to follow the agitational path if the genuine candidates would be deprived of their rights. President JURSEA, Sandeep Sandy said that UGC has prescribed norms regarding the criteria for selection of lecturers for both Post Graduate level and Under Graduate level. And if the norms will be flouted by the appointing authorities then Scholars would follow the agitational path.
