| BJP decries deteriorating Kashmir situation | | | Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, Aug 31: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating situation in Kashmir valley.
In a handout issued here today, BJP Spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal has said that for the last 15 days, situation has seemingly gone out of control in Kashmir valley. He said that despite the announcement of financial packages for the unemployed youth, nothing has changed in Kashmir valley.
Singh added that number of causalities is on increase and simultaneously harassment to the security forces is also increasing. HE further said that tug of war between main opposition party PDP supported by the separatists and the ruling party is adding to the miseries instead of helping in controlling mobs who are misguided and damaging their own interests.
Dr. Nirmal Kamal further asserted that different self serving proposals such as Autonomy, Self-Rule so far suggested are dead proposals. He maintained that he decision makers at the centre should first understand this hard fact as this is the only viable solution within the constitution of India and the ruling government is capable of convincing the concerned groups in the valley about this.
He stressed that people from Kashmir valley in particular and Jammu & Kashmir in general can enjoy the benefits of better economic future otherwise the dragon which is spreading its tentacles fast in PoK, and in Gilgit will swallow the entire trouble some area leaving the State people particularly the separatists having regrets for all the times to come.
