| J.E’s elect demand release of pending salary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 31: The Junior elected Engineers (JE’s) of Power Development Department, commercial and survey wing Jammu in a meeting express resentment the delay in release of salary dues pending from the months of August 2010 to February 2010 was discussed in full. As per press release it was unanimously felt by all the aggrieved J.E’s that they are being given step motherly treatment from the higher authorities of their wing as compared to the other wings of P.D.D like S&O, EM&RE when it comes to payment of salary dues pending period is concerned. The matter has been brought to the notice of higher authorities like tech. officer to chief engineer C&S Wing, Jammu and other concerned executive engineers of this wing but no pains have been taken to get the funds released for the salary dues which is the basic right of any employee, till date. It is now a humble request on our part to Development Commissioner Power, Chief Engineer C&S wing. Superintending Engineer C&S wing to kindly look into the matter and make necessary allotment of funds so as to ensure that J.E’s can concentrate on their role in the development of the state more efficiently. The release added.
