| Sino-Pak nexus to destabilize India: Sangarsh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 31: Sangarsh has suspected a China-Pakistan nexus to exclude Jammu and Kashmir from India.
Talking to media persons here today, Mahesh Kaul, president Sangarsh expressed concern over the designs of China and the dubious role played by Pakistan to destabilize the Indian nation by posing a serious threat to the territorial integrity of India
He said, “Alarming development that has taken place due to the ceding of the territory of Northen areas of Gilgit and Baltistan to China by Pakistan which is under its illegal occupation”.
“Pakistan has no right to hand over the territory of PoK which included Gilgit, Baltistan and the Northern Areas to China as it is the part of India illegally occupied by Pakistan’, he mentioned, adding, ‘Pakistan's official line has been that J&K is a disputed territory, which it is not, then how come it has handed over the parts of the state under its illegal occupation to China.”
Kaul said, “Its a serious development as far as the territorial Integrity of India is concerned as China is flexing its muscles to destabilize India by helping Pakistan”.
He further said, “China regards PoK, Gilgit, Baltistan and Northern Areas as the de facto and de jure part of Pakistan but is trying to make an opinion where it wants to project J&k state of India as disputed state.”
He said that Indian foreign policy and the Indian political establishment are neglecting the Chinese policy of expansion at their own peril.
‘Indian foreign policy needs to seek re-orientation in terms of Tibet. India has recognized Tibet an integral part of China while China is hell bent upon projecting J&K as disputed’, he maintained.
