| NGO organizes plantation drive | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Sept 1: The Alpha Mission Cherutable Trust an NGO in collaboration with the horticulture department organized a plantation drive in Alpha Mission school at Alla here today. On the occasion nearly 100 saplings of various varities of plants in the school premises by the students and staff. Speaking on the occasion chief horticulture officer Kuldeep Raj Sharma, who was the chief guest, appraised the gathering about the importance of plantation. A colorful cultural programme on the event was also presented by the students. Among others present were Rakesh Sharma, Y.K Kesar, Gurdeep Singh, Balbir Singh and principal of school Suresh Kumar. He said trust will continue such drives in near future also.
