JM Udyog Kendra imparted craft-training to 20 women

Jammu, Sept 1: Nearly 20 women belonging to poor families of Bhagwati nagar who were imparted three months training in various crafts by Jagriti Mahila Udyog Kendra were given certificates on the competition of training course. These women were mostly imparted training in cutting and tailoring under the scheme sponsored by Jammu Urban sponsored by Jammu urban development authority and certificate were issued by the president of Kendra Veena Bakshi. The certificates entitle the women to get jobs in government semi-government agencies, as well as to obtain loans from the banks, to start their own venture under self help group program. The NGO is also helping these women to get loan from the bank for starting their own collective craft center and boutique.
