JAMMU, Sep 1: Dr.D.S Khosla, Director animal husbandry department, Kashmir has taken over as director, animal husbandry department, Jammu here yesterday. Dr.Khosla has a vast experience of the department and is an expert of cattle and buffalo development known for his capabilities in the department and held many responsible posts viz. Joint Director, Cattle Breeding Farm, Belicharana, chief animal husbandry officer, Jammu; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Kargil; Rinderpest Control Officer, Jammu in the department. Department has welcomed him as director and also expressed its gratitude to the government for appointing him as Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu.
