| PHE employees asso hail govt decision | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 1: PHE employees welfare association in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma president of the association thanked the chief minister and his government for fixing 28 years service as service for qualifying for pension. Sharma appreciated the cabinet of the chief minister on this direction, as there are numerous employees who were recruited late at their matured ages hardly earn the present stipulated qualifying service and the present decision will benefit thousands of workers to qualify for full pension well before superannuation. He, however at this stage prayed that the said decision should be implemented back dated, particularly from the date of VRS of first batch of employees. Mohan Lal, Robin Bhatti, Channan Dev, Khairaiti Lal, Asha Ram, Chaman and Thoru ram also spoke on the occasion.
