| CRPF celebrated 42nd raising day | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: The GC, CRPF, Bantalab celebrated its 42nd raising day in a befitting manner with chanting of prayers from all religious institutions led by the commander S.R Panthi. As per press release the main function in which general public including families and children of officers and other ranks participated while A S Sidhu, IG Jammu CRPF inaugurated the main function in the children part of the GC where a fair was held. Different events like Musical chair game, tug of war, leg race, Jalebi race etc were organized for Jawans, families and children. The prizes were distributed to the winners. In the evening, Barakhana was organized. Indeed, all the officers and jawan took part in the fair with heat and soul. Few folk songs and dance of various regional languages rent the air thus composite culture of India descended on the GC Campus. Chief Guest Sidhu extended his hearty felicitation to all for their untiring efforts and conveyed his good wishes to GC personnel on the raising day. Being an empowered GC, he urged the GC BTB to discharge and execute its duties with extra vigil, devotion and dedication
