| Languages Club organises lecture | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 1: Languages Club of Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu organized a lecture on the topic “Relation between Sanskrit and Dogri Language”.
Dr Ved Kumari Ghai was the resource person on the occasion. Dr Ghai stressed on the influence of Sanskrit over Dogri language by quoting examples and enumerating vocabulary of words to prove this fact.
Principal of the college Dr Kiran Bakshi appreciated and applauded the activities of the club.
Dr Sunita Sudan, Convenor of the club welcomed the resource person and briefed about the activities of the club. Teachers of the college and students also attended the function. On this important occasion, Dr Ghai also distributed certificates to the students for their successful completion of Add- on course in journalism. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr Sandhya Rani.
