Power to remain affected on Sept 4,5,6

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 1: In order to carry out the work of laying double circuit 11 KV dedicated feeder for SMGS Hospital Jammu, the power supply to the Parade, Link road, Purani Mandi, Jain Bazaar, SMGS Hospital and Civil Secretariat, City Police Station, Raj Bhawan, Ayurvedic Hospital, MLA Hostel, Directorate of Health Services shall remain affected on September 4, 5 and 6.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the work of preventive maintenance of the transmission lines and replacement of worn-out jumpers/droppers etc at Grid Station, Bari-Brahamna-1 and Miransahib, the power supply to the Industrial area Bari-Brahmna-1 & Miransahib, Narbada feeder, Birpur Industrial Complex, Jakh, Vijaypur, Kartholi area, Gangyal Industrial Complex, Part of Trikuta Nagar, Greater Kailash, Kunjwani etc and areas being fed from Gangyal and Miransahib Grid stations i.e. R S Pura, Bishnah and Salchar areas shall remain affected on September 5, 2010 from 7 am to 1 pm.
According to Chief Engineer Electric Maintenance & RE Wing Jammu, the shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
