EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 2: Though the common man in Kashmir is fed up with the constant strikes and bandhs but the separatist and jehadi forces have come up with new dictates to those who will try to defy the strike and bandh calls in the Valley will have to face serious consequences.
According to sources seeing the growing public resentment against the constant strike and shutdown in Valley the Jehadi forces have pasted the warning notices on the trees and walls in different places of Kashmir asking people not to defy the strike call.
The sources said that people identified siding with the Government or its agencies as well as those defying the bandh call will have to face serious repercussions. Such notices were seen on walls and trees in different parts of Anantnag district including Diyalagam, Anantdooru and Larkipora recently, sources added.
Sources said these notices not only came with serious threats to those auto drivers, taxi, sumo and other LMV operators, bus drivers but traders also that any move to sabotage the movement by plying the vehicles on roads or opening their business establishments will not only be viewed seriously by the separatist forces but they will resort to direct action against them.
Sources said the printed notices issued by Tehrik-e-Sangbaz (Movement of stone pelters) also warned serious consequences to the people siding with police and security forces by giving any information to them regarding the ongoing movement and its leadership.
Sources said that the main objective of the pasting of such warning notices by jehadi forces and separatists is to create fear psychosis among the masses daring to defy the bandh call as there is a brewing resentment among the common Kashmiri against the constant strikes.
Sources said the separatist forces seeing signs of brewing revolt against the ongoing movement have resorted to such tactics to suppress the voice of the people.
It may be recalled that in various parts of Kashmir Valley the people had openly come to revolt against the separatists and their constant strike calls and openly questioned the logic behind them.
Besides the group clashes at different places among supporters and opponents of the strike, in many parts of Kashmir, traffic also plied normally on the routes during the bandh days in last week which added to the desperation of separatist forces who were forced to come openly with threatening posters.
Sources said that the resentment was so brewing that even the auto and other LMV operators despite being given good thrashing by the separatists or punished by placing them in the bundles of allergic grass commonly known Swai in Kashmir had made no impact on them.
