| 14 bovine animals seized and smuggler arrested by Kishtwar Police | | |

KISHTWAR, Sept. 3: There were some occasional complaints that few miscreants are smuggling bovine animals from one place to another to sell them at different places allegedly for slaughtering purposes. On this issue general public of Kishtwar have always expressed their serious concerns.
Today on 03-09-2010, acting on a specific information District Police Kishtwar placed a surprised and specific Nakas and managed a catche of smuggled bovine animals at Naka Bhanderkoot. One Nazir Ahmed Chowhan S/O Mohd. Hussain R/O Kuchal, Chatroo (P/S Chatroo) along with 14 Numbers of bovine animals was caught red handed at Police Naka Bhanderkoot under the jurisdiction of P/S Kishtwar.
On this Case FIR No. 186/2010 U/S 188 RPC stands registered at P/S Kishtwar and investigation is set into motion. District Police Kishtwar is committed to stop such type of criminal activities across the District.
On this successful operation, people of Kishtwar have hailed the timely action of District Police However few more arrests and recoveries are expected during the further course of investigation of this case
