JAMMU, Sept 5: Youth leader of National Conference Iqbal Wani has urged the state government to take corrective measures for controlling the outbreak of gastroenteritis in erstwhile Doda district.
In a statement issued here today, youth NC leader asserted that the alternate arrangements for safe drinking water should be made on urgent basis. Wani added that health infrastructure of the region is of no use since it is facing serious shortage of staff. He said that short-term plans of meeting with this outbreak should be followed by long-term plans like construction of filtration plants in the region, their proper management and also legalizing water connections.
