AJKLTF hails govt’s decision to retire corrupt employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 5: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers' Federation (AJKLTF) has hailed the State government’s stand to retire the corrupt and request the state government to include corrupt politicians also adding that it should be done with solid proofs not with revengeful attitude. Addressing a joint press conference here today, District president Parshotam Sharma and General Secretary Ravinder Verma said that AJKLTF said that the proposed move by the state government is a step in the right direction. On the occasion, the AJKLTF leaders raised several demands and pledged to work for the cause of employees, children besides common man. They demanded to train all ‘the teachers’ upto date before Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to avoid unrest among them. AJKLF leaders also demanded CA prevalent upto 1987 be awarded to all employees working in far-flung areas which was 45% of the basic pay at that time for the smooth functioning of all institutions in bad pockets, backward, RBA and Border Areas. CA equivalent to 30% of basic pay may be given to the employees. Regularization of all offices may be done and earn leave to vocational employees may be awarded at the pattern of HP government and Punjab. All the vacant posts may be filled at earliest because institutions in rural areas are badly affected by shortage of staff. Benefits of 6th pay commission may be awarded to employees before holy Eid as committed by the State government.
