| 2000 capacity Milk Collection Centre inaugurated at Khour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Khour, Sep 5: Jammu and Kashmir dairy producers, processors , and marketing coop union limited opened one 2000 capacity Milk Collection Centre at Khour, under the guidance and supervsion of Tara Chand Deputy Chief minister Manohar Lal Sharma, MoS independent charge Cooperatives in the presence of many milk producers of the area.
Address the gathering Tara Chand appreciated the role of union cooperative for making available milk collection infrastructure at ground level.
He further appealed to the youth to get active towards such opportunities of self employment and said that people of local area should come out for participation in dairy industry and also concerned department to help people raise their cattle holding and establishing dairies.
Manohar Lal Sharma (MOS for Cooperatives offered his extensive support for current projects of establishing chain of bulk milk coolers. He also promised all kind of support to cooperatives under self reliant act\.
In addition to this he said that his ministry will initiate all kind of facilities like banking etc at ground level under cooperative fold.
Satish Gupta CMD, Surya Milk said that they are committed to bring 50000 families in dairy coop fold and give self employment to them by creating good dairy entrepreneurs and establishing world class dairy infrastructure.
Vikrant Dogra, Secy, JKDUCL thanked all prominent invitees who included Kesav Sharma, Registrar, Chain Singh, Banarsi Das, Kabul Singh, Prem Singh, and officials of the cooperative department for their presence and support.
