| Saroori supporters take out protest rally, demand his reinstatement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Sep 6:- The supporters of former R&B Minister and MLA Inderwal G.M. Saroori, alongwith Congress workers all over District Kishtwar particularly from Inderwal Constituency took out a strong protest rally at Thathri under the leadership of Mohd Iqbal Taili and Sarfaraz Khan BCC members demanding immediate revocation of Saroori’s dismissal order .
They raised slogans in favour of Saroori , Sonia Gandhi and G.N. Azad , and termed his ouster from the ministry post unfortunate for the people of State in general and District Kishtwar in particular. Later, they were joined by some senior Congress leaders from District Kishtwar including Thakur Jugal Bhandari JKPCC State Secretary , Mushtaq Ahmad Hap , Mohinder Singh Parihar, Om Parkash Shan. Haji Hassam Din , J.R. Aryan , and others who addressed the gathering and urged upon them to remain united.
“This is most unfortunate not only for the people of Kistwar but the Congress party as well…… we urge the Congress high command to look into the matter and reconsider the decision afresh…… they have no option other than reinstating G.M. Saroori as R&B Minister”, the leaders asserted ,cautioning the ‘anti –congress forces’ who they alleged played negative role into the whole episode. The Saroori supporters said they will foil all attempts which are being made to divide the JKPCC as well as AICC in two factions. During this protest rally the vehicular movement on Kishtwar Batote NHIB remained suspended .
Interestingly, on this occasion the party leaders distributed the EID Mubarak Cards of G.M. Saroori among the supporters .
