| Non-gazetted forest officers discuss promotion avenues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 6: The non-gazetted forest officers in a meeting discussed the issues of posting of State Forest Corporation in J&K Forest Department, beside the service conditions of the field staff regarding promotion avenues.
They said forest employee already in stagnation and are going to retire in the same grade on which they were initially appointed. The posting and adjustment of SFC staff will definitely disturb the future right of promotion of the senior most foest employees eagerly waiting for promotion after serving more than 35 years of un-blemished service. The Non Gazetted Forest Officer Association has already approached the Chief Conservation of Forests, Jammu to show anguish over the decision of the higher authorities.
In the meeting Jaswant Singh, Rajesh Bakshi, Ravi Kumar, B S Baloria, Ajeet Kumar, R S Jasrotia also spoke.
