JAMMU, Sep 6: To commemorate Teacher’s Day, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Nagrota organised plantation drive at the school premises, near here today.
While seniors gave a message of clean and green environment by planting saplings in the compound, the students were involved in colourful cultural programme to observe the day.
The plantation drive was launched by Principal of the School, R K Shukla. He was accompanied by Vice-Principal, A K Puri and PGT Chemistry, Sandhya Gupta.
On the occasion, Principal made the students aware of importance of Teacher’s Day by quoting examples. |
