| Sainik Sammelan by GOC Tiger Division held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 7: The Tiger Division on the orbat of Western Command, Major General TPS Waraich, Vishist Seva Medal took over the Command of Tiger Division on 01 May 2010.
A special Sainik Sammelan was held on 30 Jul 2010.
All officers, JCOs and other ranks of the Division were present.
The Division Championship Banners for the Training Year 2009-10 (Infantry and Other than Infantry Units) were presented during the Sainik Sammelan by the General Officer Commanding.
The General Officer Commanding Banner was awarded to 9 ASSAM for the best in Infantry Battalions and 194 Medium Regiment was awarded best in other than Infantry Battalions category for their outstanding performance in all professional and sports competitions in training year 2009-10.
The Sainik Sammelan was concluded with an interaction by the GOC with the troops.
