JSM appreciates JMCC pledge to preserve secularism | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 7: Jammu State Morcha members has complimented the reconstitution of Jammu Muslim Coordination Committee (JMCC) & electing of A.G.Kohli as its president and Anwar Choudhary as its Secretary. The JMCC has thus shown that the Muslims of Jammu province have rejected the statements & thoughts of its erstwhile president Zahur-ud-Din & stood united to preserve the secular character of Jammu province State Morcha appreciated the move that will prevent whole heartily each & everyone who will try to vitiate this integrity & try to polarize atmosphere of the state and Jammu province in particular. “By this reconstitution the JMCC members have also rejected the call of referendum that its ousted president gave along-with throwing out the deep conspiracy to divide Jammu province on communal lines and to encourage the separatist and anti- India tendencies in the province also under the guise of this august body”, the JSM release said. The people of Jammu region, irrespective of their religion, caste and creed have always stood for the national integrity and showed their extreme patriotism in all crucial moments & such efforts will not be tolerated at any cost. All JSM members expressed their solidarity with the JMCC & the Muslim community in particular & assured them that they would always be ready to work in close co-ordination with them to ensure that secular character of Jammu province stands united in the face of these extreme pressures along-with also strive together to get Justice for all the people here. Jammu State Morcha also cautioned the government and the people of Jammu region against such people & committees who want to disturb the communal harmony and peace prevailing in Jammu region and want to drag the Muslims of Jammu region along the path of separation from the country & be ever vigilant against them. H. B.
