| Cattle smuggler held at Chasana | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Sept 07: A cattle smuggler was arrested by police at Malik Kote in Chasana area of Mahore, Reasi, Monday night.
Police sources said Shabir Ahmad, son of Akbar of Bagarkote, Mahore, was taking three oxen and one buffalo on foot to Srinagar when a police party of Chasana police post caught hold of him.
He was arrested and booked under relevant sections of law, the sources added, saying the cattle were also seized and restored to their owners. |
