Impersonator, beneficiary under five days police remand
Police to seize BOSE ETT, SP College records for scrutiny

Jammu, Sept 7: In swift developments related to Elementary Teachers Training (ETT) impersonation racket busted at MIER College, impersonator Bua Singh son of Atman Singh and beneficiary Sat Pal Singh son of Mela Singh, residents of village Reond Kala, Punjab who were arrested on Tuesday were sent under 5 days police remand for questioning by Executive Magistrate today.
As per police source during verifying and questioning various inputs, Bus Stand police team is all set to seize records of JK Board of School Education’s ETT examination wing. Sources further said that police team will quiz incharge EET examination wing Vidya Rattan besides seizing record of SP ETT College for checking, as the beneficiary Sat Pal Singh was student of the college. Sources revealed that during questioning it was admitted by both the culprits that deal of Rs 20,000 were decided for English bi-annual examination.
It is an admitted fact that maximum students of Punjab, Rajasthan and other neighboring states failed in English subject during last examination session. It has been reported also that in English subjects students appearing in examinations showed poor performance for several past years. It was also revealed that the impersonation processing has been going on for the last several years and to check out facts and figure, police is to seize the records of institution mentioned earlier.
Pertinent to mention here that the racket came to limelight when the invigilator Javed Ahmed Khatib identified impersonator and he informed bus stand police that immediately swung into action and arrested beneficiary who was waiting for his companion’s arrival on BC road. It is expected that more nexus active during examination in Munna Bhai style would be disclosed soon.
