J&K Bank inaugurates ATM at Thatri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 8: Jammu and Kashmir Bank pressed one more ATM into public service at Thatri in Doda in Jammu taking total number of the Bank ATMs to 306. This is the fourth such machine, which has been installed in Doda district. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan inaugurated the ATM amid a good gathering of valuable customers and senior citizens of the area. Speaking on the occasion, Khan said, “Installing such high-tech and customer-friendly machines in the remotest area like Thatri speaks volumes about the service ethics of J&K Bank.” He congratulated bank for meeting the long-held demand of people of the area. He stressed upon the people to keep a close liaison with bank to avail benefits of banking facilities and products according to their own needs. Present on the occasion, Cluster Head (II-Kishtwar) Maqbool Lone informed the gathering about various products and schemes of the bank. Urging the people of area to avail schemes of the bank and other facilities, he said, “All sites belonging to bank are basically meant to empower people financially”. It is the time to deepen our business engagements so that more financial and banking services are extended to these areas of Jammu North, he added. People hailed role of the bank in extending high-tech facilities besides other banking and financial services to these areas.
