| Kathua NC pays tributes to Sheikh Abdullah | | | EARLYTIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sept 8: The 28th death anniversary of Sher-e- Kashmir Sheikh Abdulla was observed by the activists of National Conference here today with district president Dhian Chand in chair.
The activists paid floral tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir sheikh Abdulla and observed silence for two minutes. Addressing the activists, Dhian Chand said Sher-e-Kashmir was a great asset of the state, rather country who introduced the new modernized democratic concept by uprooting the feudalism system from the State and set an example to the world.
Chand said his role and contribution to the state can never be forgotten especially by the poor and down trodden masses of the state. The vacuum created by his death can never be filled”, he said.
The district vice president Shakeel Ahamad Tony, district secretary K.K Bakshi, block youth president NC Suresh Kumar, President of SC/OBC cell NC Subash Chander Azaad, Provincial joint Secretary Youth Vijay Singh Badwal, and block president J.P Singh were present to pay their holy floral tribute.
