| NC-BJP working in collusion: PDP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 8: Ridiculing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for staging drama of holding Dharnas in different parts of Jammu region against greater autonomy proposal of National Conference (NC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that BJP has already been exposed for unholy nexus with NC and hence, it cannot befool people anymore.
Addressing a meeting of party workers at party headquarters, PDP general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh ridiculed BJP leaders for staging Dharna and termed such activities as a drama to hoodwink people. “Nexus between NC and BJP is an open secret so there is no need for this party to indulge in such activities to befool the masses”, he said and suggested the BJP leaders to come directly in support of NC rather than staging such dramas.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP MLC Sayed Asgar Ali pointed out that presence of BJP MLA in the function of National Conference at Bhalwal was a clear example of nexus between two parties. He said that even leaders of coalition Congress had decided not to attend the function of NC but the BJP MLA shared dias with Chief Minister and highlighted achievements of the government. Daman Bhasin, Thakur Falail Singh, Deepinder Kour, Surjeet Kour and others also addressed the workers.
