First phase of ‘Sakshaatkaar’ photo exhibition conclude

Jammu, Sept 8: The first phase of photo exhibition ‘Sakshaatkaar’ concluded at Roop Nagar with thousands of people witnessing it for the last four days. The second phase of the exhibition will be inaugurated at Purkhoo Camp on 12th September and will continue till the evening of 13th September 2010. the exhibition unique it its nature as it will be among the victims, clicked by the victims, organized by the victims and for the victims. As per press release the reflection of the visitors suggest the impact of the exhibition as it reminds them of their victimization, plunder of their property and desecration of their shrines. The direct victims of the terrorism were particularly emotional and couldn’t control their tears. What the terrorists have done to our community and our temples. And the terrorists have killed Kashmirr people and why? And my paternal grandfather was also killed by the terrorists.” 91 years old Badri Nath Razdan, with stick in his hand and supported by another elderly man watched the exhibition kennly and described it “heart rendering and killing remembrance”. Prof N.N Sharma a ex-secretary J&K Board of School Education wrote,” shocked to see the brutalities of the fundamentalists and trampling of human values under their feet. The exhibition is an eve opener for pseudo-secular rulers of India. Hindus, Hindu culture, temples are not safe in Kashmir”. Expressing his views about the exhibition, Udhay Chand, President Duggar Pradesh Party said, “photographs displayed the truth which meted out with the Kashmiri Pandits community in Kashmir. The cruelty meted out with them is highly condemnable and shame for the whole nation who could not react so far.”
