| Semis line-up drawn in girls’ basketball | | Inter-school undr-19 competitions of Jammu district | | Early Times Report
JAMMU Sept 8: Semi-finals position has been cleared in girls section with the entry of MHAC Nagbani, KC Public School, Army School Domana and JK Public School in the last four stages of the ongoing inter-school under-19 basketball tournament of Jammu district under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Mini Stadium, Parade, here.
Now, in the semi-finals, to be played tomorrow, Nagbani shall take on Army School Domana while KC Public shall lock horns against JK Public. It will be followed by the final at the same venue.
Earlier, in the first round of quarter-finals, MHAC Nagbani beat Jodhamal School in a one-sided contest 28-05 and Army School Domana trounced Heritage School in similar 13-06 in a low scoring game. KC Public registered 12-06 victory over Convent School while JK Public School defeated Government Higher Secondary School Mubarak Mandi 30-10 making it a one-sided contest.
In all, eight teams turned-up in this two-day event being held on knock-out basis.
