GCW Parade organizes Parent-Teacher meet | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 8: To develop a healthy relationship between college management and the parents a Parent-Teacher meet was organized by the Department of Computer Sciences, G.C.W Parade. An interactive session was held between the parents and the staff where parents and guardians interacted with the college management. They appreciated the efforts of the Principal and head of the department for organizing such events which help them to have one to one interaction with the faculty members, helping them to have first hand information about their child performances and need so that their child can really excel. They also put forward their suggestions and thoughts for the improvement of the department and the college as whole. Earlier head of computer science department Parveen Singh welcomed the principal and parents in the meet. He thanked parents for sparing their invaluable time and apprised them about various career options available after BCA. He also highlighted achievement of the BCA department and the various activities planned for the department for this session . Principal Dr. Kiran Bakshi appreciated the efforts of the department in organizing such meets. She said that parents and teacher are the two most indispensable part of students life who set the foundation of an ideal future life. She further said that college is like a family where the child is nourished for the complete holistic development. She assured parents that all the suggestions and thoughts put forwarded by them will be sincerely looked into and implemented where ever possible for the better development of the department. Prof Bindu Jamwal on behalf of department thanked all the guests in making the meet a great success. The programme was compered by Sugandha Sharma and Saniya Gupta.
