| Girl killed, brother hurt in house collapse at Ramnagar | | | JAMMU: A house collapsed at Sulgar in Ramnagar area of Udhampur Tuesday night after a mass of earth and rocks, that slid from a nearby mountain, fell on it, resulting in the death of a girl and serious injuries to her brother.
Official sources said the landslide occured late at night due to rains.
The sliding mass of earth and rocks fell on the house of Bhikhim Singh as a result of which his daughter was killed on the spot and son wounded, the sources added.
The dead was identified as Sunita (18) and the injured as Pawan, who was hospitalised.
Police had registered a case in this connection. |
