| Birth Anniversary of Aruna Asif Ali observed | | | Early Times report
Jammu, Sept 9 : Glowing tributes were paid to freedom fighter Aruna Asif Ali on her birth centenary year by a large number of eminent persons at a function organized by Samooh Theatre at K.L. Sehgal Hall here today.
Well known Journalist Ved Bhasin who was the chief on the occasion congratulated the organizers of the function in organizing programme on the life of Aruna Ali and also re-called her contribution in freedom movement of the country. Ravinder Sharma on the occasion read out on paper on Aruna Asif and her contribution. A play namely Kaamdev. com under the direction of Abhishek Bharti and written by Kumar A Bharti was highly appreciated by the audience. Beside Geetru folk group from district Udhampur namely Ram Ditta and Mohan Lal and party sung traditional songs along with Dogri dance. |
