| JK Bank holds customer awareness meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Basohli, Sept 9 : The Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Business unit, Basohli, organized a customer awareness camp here. A large number of businessmen, govt. employees, unemployed youth and people from the rural areas formed part of the gathering.
The meeting was presided
over by the Vice President, Jammu Central Zone, Madan Gupta. Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that Basohli is already there on the international horizon with its world famous Basohli Paintings and Pashmina shawls and the bank has been serving the valuable clientele of the area through the services of its Basohli branch for the last 37 years. The Vice President stressed the need for creation of SHGs to promote Pashmina Shawls and Basohli paintings so that the dying heritage of this beautiful town is preserved and presented to the world community.
He assured all support from the bank and requested the district authorities to come forward and play a lead role in this noble cause.
He also said that the objective of the bank is to empower the masses by providing through state of the art technology and through personalized services the financial solutions by way of customized and tailor made schemes of the bank to suit the varied needs of the individuals. He informed the gathering that the branch has been recently renovated and upgraded/migrated to CBS to provide the modern techno-savvy customer the facilities of anywhere banking, e-banking RTGS etc.
The public highly appreciated the initiative of the bank and also provided valuable suggestions.
