| Rashtriya Rifles organises Iftaar party | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 9: In the series of celebrations launched by counter insurgency force of Rashtriya Rifles during holy month of Ramzan, Iftaar Parties were held at Army Posts at Piragali and Manjakote.
These were organized to strengthen bond and bonhomie between awaam and the security forces. 70 civilians including 25 children attended the celebration at Pirgali whereas the strength at Manjakote was 63 civilians who belonged to various socio-economic backgrounds and represented various sections of the society.
Prominent among them were Farooq Ahmed Khan, BJP state general secretary Mohammed Razaq Khan, Iqbal Khan, Numberdar and Mohammed Rafeeq. On the occasion, it was emphasized that peace and stability was pre-requisite for all round development in the area. Gathering appreciated this unique initiative of army to reach out to AWAAM in remote and difficult border areas during this holy month.
