| Cancer Patients from J&K approaching Pinnacle | | | Early Times rEPORT
Jammu, Sept 9: A number of patients from Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab region have been approaching to Pinnacle Oncology International, a state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer care center in Sector 71, Mohali to take the benefit of free cancer screening and consultation.
This is the only one cancer care centre in up-north Delhi region. The free cancer camp will continue till September 23, 2010. Any cancer patient may take appointment with the competent doctors and radiation experts by calling on these two numbers: 0172-5044300 and 5044301.
Dr Nisar Syed, Chairman, Pinnacle Oncology International said, "We continue to strive to provide the best of comprehensive cancer care services to the people of North Indian states including Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana etc. On the occasion of its second anniversary, Pinnacle Cancer Centre has organized a free Cancer screening, education and consultation camp."
The centre was set up two years ago in collaboration with 21st Century Oncology, a USA based leading oncology group. The free consultation facility will be provided to the cancer patients till September 23, between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on week days.
Cancer specialist Dr Vinay Kumar, MD, formerly Assistant Professor Radiotherapy at PGI Chandigarh, and Dr Manisi Bansal, Radiation Consultant, formerly with AIIMS New Delhi, are available for consultation at the free camp.
Pinnacle Oncology International is equipped with cutting edge technology in radiation therapy systems with highly qualified and competent professional staff along with efficient administration.
The equipment includes latest Varian Dual Energy 120 MLC Silhouette Linear Accelerator, one of the latest technology machines in India.
