BJP concerned over dilapidated health centers | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed serious concern over the dilapidated condition of heath centers across Ramban district. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a deputation from villages of BassUkhral-Panchal in Tehsil Banihal of district Ramban met state BJP leader and incharge Banihal assembly constituency Rajeev Charak and apprised him about dilapidated condition of Primary Health Centre (PHC) of Kunchi-Ukhral. They informed him that one Deepak Singh son of Thakur Dass of village BassUkhral- Panchal collapsed and when his parents and villagers rushed him to said primary health centre, no doctor or staff member was on duty in the PHC. Patient had suffered serious head injury. Rajeev Charak heard the deputation carefully and assured them of taking up the issue with higher authorities of concerned department. The BJP leader urged health minister Sham Lal Sharma to take firm steps to keep a check on the working of Sub-Centres, PHCs and Hospitals of state. |
