| Army organises medical camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: Under the aegis of ace of spades division, a medical camp for differently abled civilians was organized at 150 general hospital here today. In a handout issued here today, camp was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding (GOC) ace of spades division; several civil administration officials and prominent citizens of Rajouri were present.
Technical support, prosthesis, calipers and splints for the needy civilians were provided by Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust (RNCT) Mumbai. GOC in his inaugural address stated that army has always supported differently abled persons in this area.
He also assured that army would do its best to help all. 75 Differently abled persons from Rajouri, Nowshera and Poonch districts had come to attend this camp.
All these persons were examined in detail and 48 persons have been earmarked for fitting of prosthests, calipers and splints in October 10. |
