Manch seeks removal of cooperative minister | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Sept 12: Kandi Ekta Manch (KEM) has accused Minister for Cooperative Manohar Lal Sharma of resorting to unfair means in the allotment of contracts and in carrying out developmental works in Billawar constituency. President of Manch Ashok Jasrotia, vice-president Chaman Lal Sharma, Kuljit Singh and Ram Chander while addressing a press conference here today stated this. They alleged large-scale irregularities and urged the government to set up an enquiry committee on the ongoing developmental works in the entire villages in general. They said that in village Garnadi, an important culvert is still lying undeveloped for the last one year. They also blamed Manohar Lal Sharma for resorting to undemocratic means in the allotment of developmental works. They have urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to expel Manohar Lal from the cabinet. |
