Four hurt as vehicles collide at Akhnoor

JAMMU: Four persons were wounded in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the new Akhnoor bridge on river Chenab near here today.
Police said a Tata mobile (JK02AE/3124) collided with an autoricksha (JK02S/8250) on the new Akhnoor bridge on Chenab, resulting in injuries to four persons.
The injured were identified as Kalu Ram of Bazigar Basti, Bansi Lal, Tillu Ram and Puran Chand, all residents of Bale-da-Bagh.
They were admitted to sub-district hospital, Akhnoor, from where Kalu was referred to the GMC Hospital here following deterioration in his condition.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
